FRIDAY DAILY REPORT

TODAY, SUNNY AND IN THE 30'S.
SNOW IN FORECAST THE NEXT 36 HOURS OR SO.
MAYBE TWO INCHES.
THEN COLDER WEATHER.
FOR INSTANCE, NEXT WEDNESDAY, A HIGH FOR THE
DAY OF 5 DEGREES.


WAS AT FLAPJACK'S AT NOON AND VISITED A COUPLE MINUTES WITH MARK
BROOKS, FORMER POLICE CHIEF IN MAQUOKETA.   HE LEFT IN 1997 FOR
WATERTOWN, SOUTH DAKOTA TO GET INTO THE NEW CAR BUSINESS WITH
HIS FATHER-IN-LAW, THE LATE BOB HAYES.   HE'S STILL THERE IN THE
AUTOMOBILE BUSINESS.

ABOVE, OUR NEW KMAQ NEW'S DIRECTOR, CODY BARNES.    HE IS FROM
WYOMING, IOWA AND WAS A MAY GRADUATE AT MIDLAND HIGH SCHOOL.
FOR A COUPLE YEARS, HE HAS BEEN INTERESTED IN  GETTING INTO RADIO BROADCASTING AND IS HAPPY OUR POSITION BECAME AVAILABLE.      HE
HAS BEEN WORKING SINCE TUESDAY AND DOING GOOD.
