ANOTHER BEUTIFUL DAY TODAY. HIGH OF 73.
THE WEEKEND FORECAST LOOKS PRETTY DESCENT.
MAQUOKETA GOT A MUCH NEEDED INCH OF RAIN THIS WEEK.

THE KMAQ TRAVEL BUS TRIP TO MACKINAC ISLAND WAS FUN. ALL WENT WELL.
GOT BACK AT 7 LAST NIGHT. HOPE YOU TOO CAN VISIT THE ISLAND SOMETIME.
LOTS OF FOOD, FUN, WATER, HORSES (NO CARS OR TRUCKS) AND OOODLES OF FUDGE.

MAQUOKETA HOSTS DEWITT IN FOOTBALL TONIGHT. SHOULD BE A GREAT GAME.

NEXT FRIDAY, BERTHEL FISHER & COMPANY WILL HOST AN OPEN HOUSE OF THEIR NEW
OFFICE BUILDING ON EAST PLATT, WHERE SLIP'S INN WAS FOR MANY YEARS AND
IN RECENT YEARS, WAS THE HOME OF B & C LIQUOR STORE. THE BUILDING WAS COMPLETELY RENOVATED, INSIDE AND OUT. LOOKS GOOD. BEST WISHES TO JOHN LONG, MARV JUNK AND DENISE REEG IN THEIR NEW LOCATION. THEY HAD BEEN LOCATED IN THE DENTAL BUILDING DOWNTOWN.

FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD TODAY FOR SUE DAVISON, AGE 84, OF MAQUOKETA.
NICE LADY. GOOD KMAQ LISTENER. WENT ON A KMAQ TRIP OR TWO ALSO.

MARY WOOD, AGE 99, OF COLORADO SPRINGS AND FORMERLY OF MAQUOKETA, DIED YESTERDAY AT THE HOME OF HER DAUGHTER THERE.

I'LL TRY TO REMEMBER TO PUT THE FOOTBALL SCORE UP HERE TOMORROW.

HAVE A NICE WEEKEND.
