TUESDAY DAILY REPORT

TODAY, SUNNY AND COLD...HIGH UPPER TEENS.

THURSDAY, BUT INTO THE 20'S FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL MEETING LAST NIGHT.
THE CITY IS WORKING ON NEXT YEAR'S CONTRIBUTION TO THE LIBRARY
OPERATING FUND BUT NOT BEFORE BEING DISCUSSED AGAIN BY
THE CITY FIANCE COMMITTEE.    THE COUNTY PAYS PART OF IT TOO.

THE  CITY VOTED TO BUY A WARNING SIREN FOR NEARLY $20,000 TO
BE INSTALLED IN AREA OF WAL MART.

THE CITY ACCESS CHANNEL IS GOING DIGITAL AT 78.2 AND 78.4

AND TIM CHAPIN WAS APPOINTED TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
COMMISSION AND FILLS THE REQUIREMENT OF 4.   CHAPIN IS
A FORMER CITY COUNCIL MAN.

LOGAN MAYBERRY, A SENIOR AT MCHS, WILL WRESTLE AT THE STATE
TOURNAMENT THURSDAY AFTERNOON AT 152 POUNDS AND WITH  HIS
RECORD OF 35 AND 4 WILL GO AGAINST SENIOR BRIAN DITTMEN OF SOUTHEAST POLK HIGH SCHOOL, WITH A RECORD OF 25 AND 6.
