RONALD McDONALD WAS IN MAQUOKETA TODAY AS A SPECIAL GUEST AT THE
"FAMILY FUN FEST" IN THE PEARSON CENTER AT THE FAIRGROUNDS,  A FREE
ANNUAL EVENT SPONSORED BY PREVENT CHILD ABUSE OF JACKSON COUNTY.
PCAJC HAS BEEN VERY PROACTIVE IN ITS APPROACH TO ELIMINATE CHILD ABUSE
AND NEGLECT THROUGH EDUCATION AND AWARENESS IN THE COMMUNITY.
SPONSORING EVENTS, LIKE THE ONE TODAY, ENABLES PARENTS TO BRING THEIR
ENTIRE FAMILY AND UNWIND FROM A TOUGH WEEK OF LIFE'S EVERYDAY HUSTLE AND BUSTLE.    THERE WERE LOTS OF THINGS FOR THE KIDS TO DO AND FREE LUNCH TOO.
THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN AFTER RONALD CAME BACK TO McDONALDS ON WEST PLATT IN MAQUOKETA.    BETWEEN VISITING WITH THE KIDS, I ASKED HIM IF I COULD TAKE HIS PICTURE WITH SUE BRIMEYER OF MAQUOKETA, LONGTIME MANAGER OF THE LOCAL McDONALDS.    THANKS TO GLEN KARPINSKI, OWNER OF McDONALDS, FOR BRINGING RONALD TO MAQUOKETA FOR THIS SPECIAL EVENT.   CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO ENLARGE IT.
