TUESDAY DAILY REPORT

ANOTHER NICE SUNNY DRY DAY IN THE LOW 80'S.
LOOKS GOOD FOR A FEW MORE DAYS.

BILL "HERK" HERKELMAN, AGE 77, OF CEDAR RAPIDS DIED JULY 24TH AT
UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS.    THE FUNERAL WAS JULY 28TH.   HE IS SURVIVED
BY  HIS FATHER, "BUSTER" HERKELMAN OF MAQUOKETA.     ALSO HIS WIFE,
TWO SONS, AND TWO BROTHERS.    HE WAS A COACH AT KENNEDY HIGH
SCHOOL IN CEDAR RAPIDS FOR THE LAST 45 YEARS.

"BUD" REISTROFFER, AGE 89, OF CAMANCHE, DIED SATURDAY AT
CRESTRIDGE CARE CENTER IN MAQUOKETA.   SURVIVORS INCLUDE HIS
WIFE, 6 CHILDREN, A SISTER AND A BROTHER, CHARLES REISTROFFER OF
MAQUOKETA.     LEMPKE FUNERAL HOME IN CLINTON IS IN CHARGE OF
ALL ARRANGEMENTS.

KMAQ IS TAKING A BUS TO THE IOWA STATE FAIR TUESDAY AUGUST 18TH.

INCLUDING AT DEWITT'S DOWNTOWN PARK.     THEY ARE FROM 6 UNTIL 8 AND INCLUDE FREE FOOD.     IT IS THE 32ND ANNUAL NNO THAT FURTHERS  A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF CITIZENS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AND
HOW THEY CAN WORK TOGETHER FOR A SAFER COMMUNITY.
