MONDAY DAILY REPORT

ABOUT 2 INCHES OF NEEDED RAIN THIS PAST WEEKEND.
TODAY, A LITTLE MORE THIS MORNING.    SUNNY AND HOT THIS AFTERNOON.
TODAY'S HIGH, 81.    TONIGHT, MORE RAIN FORECAST AND LOW IN UPPER 60'S.   TOMORROW, MORE RAIN AND COOLER, HIGH OF 79.

NO ONE HURT IN A 2-VEHICLE ACCIDENT AT THE SOUTH EDGE OF MAQUOKETA AROUND 7 LAST NIGHT.    LUCAS PATTERSON, AGE 25, OF ELWOOD WAS CHARGED FOR FAILING TO YIELD WHEN ENTERING A THROUGH HIGHWAY.   HE PULLED FROM A STOP SIGN ON 17TH STREET BUT
DID  NOT SEE A NORTH BOUND AUTO ON 200TH AVENUE DRIVIN BY RACHEL EHLINGER, AGE 30, OF MAQUOKETA.   DAMAGE TO THE PATTERSON PICKUP WAS $800 AND DAMAGE TO EHLINGER'S CAR, $4,000.

POLICE BLOTTER:
THOMAS DUNHAM OF EDNA STREET, MAQUOKETA, REPORTED SUNDAY THAT SOME GAS CANS WERE STOLEN.
A LIGHT ON THE CHURCH OF CHRIST BUILDING WAS REPORTED BROKEN
OVER THE WEEKEND.
A THEFT SATURDAY MORNING FROM WAL MART, A NEW SAMSUNG GALAXY
NOTEBOOK COMPUTER.
A HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT AT THE MAQUOKETA INN BEHIND MCDONALDS.
