44 THE HIGH TODAY, WITH SOME SUNSHINE.
RAIN AND SNOW THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS, BUT VERY LITTLE.
NO WHITE CHRISTMAS FOR MAQUOKETA.

THERE WILL AGAIN BE STOCK CAR RACING IN MAQUOKETA THIS SUMMER.
AND THE NEW PROMOTORS WILL BE RYAN DUHME AND TIM CURRENT.
BOTH ARE STOCK CAR RACERS, BUT WILL NOT RACE IN MAQUOKETA.
FIRST RACE, APRIL 7TH. THEY REPLACE BOB WAGNER, WHO WAS THE RACE PROMOTOR THE PAST 19 YEARS AND ANNOUNCED LAST FALL HE IS
RETIRING.

RAINA COSTELLO OF MAQUOKETA WAS IN A DEER-VEHICLE ACCIDENT
LAST SATURDAY AFTERNOON. NO INJURIES AND $4,500 DAMAGE TO
HER 2002 FORD FOCUS. THE CAR IS REGISTERED TO TIFFANY BIEHL
OF MAQUOKETA.

A BIRTH: SETH AND JENNA WEER OF MARION ARE PARENTS OF A GIRL
BORN DECEMBER 9TH IN A CEDAR RAPIDS HOSPITAL.
MATERNAL GRANDPARENTS ARE TOM AND SUE FULLER OF MAQUOKETA.

ROBERT "R.B." BURNETT, AGE 64, OF MARION AND FORMERLY OF LISBON
DIED THIS MORNING. HE IS SURVIVED BY A BROTHER, RON BURNETT
IN MAQUOKETA.

HELEN PETERSEN, 101, DIED THIS MORNING AT THE MAQUOKETA CARE
CENTER. MYRNA OLSON OF MAQUOKETA IS HER DAUGHTER.

THE MAQUOKETA CARDINAL WRESTLERS FINISHED LAST IN THE SABER
INVITATIONAL SATURDAY AT DEWITT.
