MONDAY DAILY

119 SENIORS GRADUATED FROM MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL YESTERDAY.    ALMOST
ALL WERE ON HAND TO GET THEIR DIPLOMA AT 2 YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AT
THE GYM.   SPACED APART, THEY FILLED THE GYM FLOOR.   PARENTS AND GUESTS
SAT IN THE BLEACHERS.   ALL WENT WELL.
THE MCHS CONCERT CHOIR SENIORS SANG "HOMEWARD BOUND"
PRINCIPAL MARK VERWAECHE READ OFF THE NAMES, ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
KEVIN BOWMAN, HANDED OUT THE DIPLOMAS  AND SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
CHRIS HOOVER MOVED THE TASSEL FROM LEFT TO RIGHT.
A PARADE THROUGH PARTS OF MAQUOKETA FOLLOWED THE CEREMONY.
