TODAY, PARTLY SUNNY AND IN 60'S. MOST OF WEEK WILL BE WARMER AND
DRY....WITH WEDNESDAY'S HIGH IN THE 80'S.

WE BROADCAST 3 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATIONS YESTERDAY. INTERESTING....
THAT THE GUEST SPEAKER AT DEWITT WAS A GRADUATE OF DEWITT AROUND 10 YEARS AGO AND IS NOW AN ASSISTANT PRODUCER FOR THE OPRA SHOW.
DEWITT HAS BEEN USING SUCCESSFUL GRADS FOR COMMENCEMENT SPEAKERS
FOR SOME TIME NOW. I THINK A GOOD IDEA. AT PRESTON YESTERDAY,
ONE OF THE GRADS GOT A FULL RIDE 4-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP FROM THE NAVY
ROTC PROGRAM. NOT BAD. WORTH OVER $150,000.

GIRL TO MELISSA AND DANIEL DAVIS OF MONMOUTH, BORN MAY 11TH AT HOSPITAL HERE IN MAQUOKETA. MATERNAL GRANDPARENTS ARE DANNY AND MOLLY
MILLER OF MAQUOKETA. PATERNAL GRANDPARENTS ARE PAM AND LARRY
DAVIS OF MAQUOKETA.

IN THE JUNE 21ST DUCK RACE. RON SAYS THIS SUPPORT (DONATION) TO THE ROTARY, IS IN MEMORY OF HIS 1949 CLASSMATES WHO HAVE DEPARTED THIS
WORLD. HE ADDED...."HERE'S A LITTLE NUDGE TO THE OTHER CLASS OF 49 MEMBERS TO BUY A DUCK". THANKS RON!!
