THE KMAQ-TRAVEL TRIP TO BRANSON WENT WELL. GOT HOME AT 6 FRIDAY NIGHT,
A LITTLE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. HAD 50 ON THE BUS. EASY TO KEEP TRACK
OF AS WE ALWAYS CHECKED FOR THE 6 EMPTY SEATS AND THEN KNEW WE WERE READY
TO TAKE OFF AGAIN. WEATHER WAS GOOD AND BRANSON WAS BUSY. ALL 6 SHOWS WERE GOOD, INCLUDING THE ONE ON THE BRANSON BELLE RIVERBOAT. ATE TOO MUCH FOOD OF COURSE AND ENJOYED A LOT OF CHRISTMAS MUSIC. THANKS TO
ALL WHO WENT! THE DANIEL O'DONNEL SHOW LASTED NEARLY 3 HOURS AND
WAS HELD IN ONE OF BRANSON'S BIGGEST THEATRES. AND IT WAS NEARLY FULL
WITH CLOSE TO 2,500 SENIORS. I TOOK THE PHOTO OF DANIEL AT
INTERMISSION AND HE ASKED IF I'D PUT IT ON "FACEBOOK". WILL DO!
IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TO BRANSON, HOPE YOU GET A CHANCE TO GO AS ITS
A FUN AND INTERESTING CITY. EIGHT MILLION PEOPLE VISIT THE TOWN
OF JUST OVER 6,000 RESIDENTS.

MORE "PROGRESS" IN MAQUOKETA.
REMEMBER THE DAYS YOU HAD A SANDWICH, MEETING OR MORNING COFFEE AND DONUTS
AT MICHEL'S TRUCK STOP ON THE HIGHWAY 61 BYPASS, MAQUOKETA?
OR, MAYBE BACON AND EGGS AT MIDNIGHT OR AT 1 IN THE MORNING?
HERE YOU SEE THE FORMER TRUCK STOP RE-BUILDT BUILDING, LOOKING
EAST/NORTHEAST FROM MYATT DRIVE.
