DENNIS VOY
U.S. REP. AND REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFUL MICHELE BACHMANN
VISITED MAQUOKETA THIS AFTERNOON. A COUPLE TRUCKS ARRIVED
EARLY IN AFTERNOON TO SET UP AN OUTSIDE STAGE AND SEATING AREA FOR
HER APPEARANCE. THIS IS UNUSUAL! ALMOST ALL THE TIME, A

UNDER EXISTING CONDITIONS. TODAY, HER BIG BUS ARRIVED AND IT
PULLED IN AND PARKED BEHIND THE STAGE AND SHE IMMEDIATELY (HER
HUSBAND WITH HER) GOT OUT OF THE BUS AND WELCOMED THE AUDIENCE
SEATED NEXT TO THE STAGE. BEFORE SHE STARTED HER CAMPAIGN
TALK, SHE WAS INTRODUCED BY DARLENE BLOCK OF MAQUOKETA, VICE-CHAIR
OF THE JACKSON COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY.
