COMMUNITY BONFIRE. THE HOMECOMING QUEEN IS ADDI DOSTAL, DAUGHTER OF ANDREA AND JOSH DOSTAL. ARVIN NETH IS THE HOMECOMING KING, SON OF MARSCHLYNN NETH. THE GAME WILL BE
AGAINST MARION FRIDAY NIGHT AT GOODENOW FIELD.
LAST WEEK I VISITED LITTLE SHEPHERD PRESCHOOL LOCATED IN THE
BASEMENT OF THE FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH AT 210 EAST PLATT STREET
IN MAQUOKETA. IT HAS BEEN SERVING THE MAQUOKETA AREA FOR MANY
YEARS, BUT RECENTLY WAS SLIGHTLY EXPANDED. BECAUSE OF THIS,
IT OFFERS A WRAP-AROUND PROGRAM.....A FREE 4 YEAR OLD CLASS, A
VOLUNTARY STATE PROGRAM.....A 3-YEAR-OLD TUITION CLASS WITH
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE .....AND A DAY CARE PROGRAM AT AN ATTRACTIVE
HOURLY RATE. IT IS FOR WORKING PARENTS AND AVAILABLE MORNINGS,
DURING THE DAY AND LATE AFTERNOON.

4-YEAR OLD CLASS, LOVES KIDS AND LOVES LITTLE SHEPHERD. AND, SHE
PAINTED THE WALL SIGN ABOVE AT THE ENTRANCE. SHE TEACHES
5 DAYS A WEEK, FROM 8:15-11:00 AND 12:15-3:00. THEY BRING THEIR LUNCH. THERE IS ALSO SNACK TIME FOR ALL CLASSES.

LITTLE SHEPHERD IS APPROVED TO HAVE SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN FROM CARDINAL K-2 ELEMENTARY.
DAYCARE IS AVAILABLE @ $2.25 AN HOUR FOR NO-SCHOOL DAYS IN THE
CITY, EARLY-OUT DAYS, BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL, AND WHEN SCHOOL
IN TOWN IS CANCELLED FOR SOME REASON.
YES..THE KIDS HAVE "RECESS" AND THERE IS A NICE SAFE PLAY YARD
RIGHT OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL DOOR.
