ALL 5 SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN JACKSON COUNTY CALLED FOR THE ELECTION AND HAVE PROMOTED A "YES" VOTE.
THE MONEY CAN BE USED FOR BUILDINGS, BUILDING MAINTENANCE,
SCHOOL BUSES.....BUT CAN NOT BE USED FOR SALARIES. IN MAQUOKETA, PASSAGE OF THE ELECTION TOMORROW WILL LET THE SCHOOL DISTRICT GO AHEAD WITH PLANS FOR A NEW GYM AND CAFETERIA. I WOULD GUESS THE ISSUE WILL PASS.
