TOP PHOTO IS OF THE PRESENT BANOWETZ ANTIQUES IN MAQUOKETA.
THE BUILDING HAS BEEN SOLD TO MARK EDWARDS AND NO WORD ON
WHAT WILL GO INTO THAT BUILDING.
MIDDLE PHOTO...ADVERTISING THE SALE BEFORE THE MOVE.
BOTTOM PHOTO...ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE MAIN BUILDING IS THIS
SMALLER BUILDING THAT IS OWNED BY KATHY AND VERL AND WILL BE
USED BY THEM STARTING IN JANUARY AS THEIR LOCATION FOR
BANOWETZ ANTIQUES. THEY WILL ALSO DO BUSINESS FROM THEIR
ORIGINAL LOCATION MANY YEARS AGO (BEHIND THEIR HOME) JUST NORTH
OF MAQUOKETA ABOUT A MILE. THEIR REPAIR AND REFURNISHING WORK
WILL BE DONE THERE, WHICH IS ALSO THEIR WAREHOUSE.
GLAD TO HAVE KATHY AND VERL STAYING IN BUSINESS IN MAQUOKETA. THEY
HAVE BROUGHT THOUSANDS TO MAQUOKETA ON A REGULAR BASIS FOR
AROUND 40 YEARS. THEY KNOW THE ANTIQUE BUSINESS LIKE NO ONE ELSE.
AND THEY CONTINUE TO OWN AND OPERATE SQUIRE'S MANOR BED AND
BREAKFAST IN MAQUOKETA, ONE OF THE FINEST IN THE MIDWEST.
