HUSCO IN MAQUOKETA NOW HAS 27 EMPLOYEES. THE HAVE 11 MORE JOBS TO BE FILLED SOON. THE COMPANY EXPECTS 50 EMPLOYEES BY THIS FALL AND 80 BY NEXT SPRING, AND 125 BY JANUARY OF 2011. INITIALLY, WHEN THEY ANNOUNCED THEIR COMING TO MAQUOKETA, THEY PROJECTED 250 JOBS BUT THE OFF-HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION MARKET HAS SEEN A STEEP DECLINE AND BECAUSE OF THE ECONOMIC SLOW DOWN, THEY WILL NOT GET UP TO 250 AS SOON AS EXPECTED.
