OVER 33-THOUSAND DOLLARS. ALSO AT THE MEETING, THE BOARD APPROVED AN INCREASE FOR MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT FROM 56 TO 57.5 CENTS PER MILE, TO MATCH THE FEDERAL ALLOWABLE RATE.
AND C.E.O. CURT COLMAN REPORTED HE IS CONTINUINMG TO WORK ON A NEW AFFILIATION AGREEMENT WITH GENESIS IN DAVENPORT.
A TWO-CAR ACCIDENT YESTERDAY AFTERNOON NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF S. OLIVE AND E. PLEASANT. THE DRIVERS WERE BEVERLY ROEDER, AGE 84 AND DAWN BRIX, AGE 52, BOTH OF MAQUOKETA. ROEDER WAS NORTHBOUND ON S. OLIVE WHEN BRIX ENTERED S. OLIVE FROM A PRIVATE DRIVE AND FILED TO YIELD AND STRUCK THE ROEDER VEHICLE.
$1,000 IN DAMAGES TO BRIX'S 2003 FORD AND $1,500 TO ROEDER'S 2007 FORD. NO INJURIES.

KETTMAN. THE CONTEST IS NEXT WEDNESDAY, WITH JUDGING STARTING AT 2. FIRST PRIZE, $30...SECOND $20 AND THIRD $15 AND TWO HONORABLE MENTION ENTRIES WILL RECEIVE $10 EACH. WANDA CORNELIUS OF RURAL ANDREW AND THELMA NISSEN OF MAQUOKETA WILL ACCEPT THE
ENTRIES AND ASSIST THE JUDGES AGAIN THIS YEAR. BAKE SOMETHING WITH CHOCOLATE AND ENTER.
