THE JACKSON COUNTY DISTRICT COURT JUDGE REFUSED TO RELEASE DANIELLE
HOLDGRAFER OR LOWER HER BOND ON CHARGES SHE ALLEGEDLY ABUSED HER 4-YEAR OLD SON WHO DIED IN JUNE. JUDGE MARLETA GREVE SAID THIS MORNING THAT
HOLDGRAFER'S BOND WILL REMAIN AT $200,000 CASH. GREVE SAID SHE WASN'T GOING TO LOWER THE BOND. IN FACT, SHE SAID HAD SHE BEEN THE ORIGINAL
JUDGE, SHE WOULD HAVE SET THE BOND MUCH HIGHER.

TRICK OR TREAT HOURS IN MAQUOKETA SUNDAY WILL BE FROM 4 UNTIL 6 P.M.
AND, THE YMCA "SPOOKTACULAR" WILL BE FROM 6 UNTIL 7:30 P.M. AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

A DELICIOUS LUNCH OF HOME MADE
SOUP, SANDWICHES AND APPLE CRISP
DESSERT WAS SERVED IN THE SOCIAL ROOM.
ALSO A BAKE SALE. THE "GREETER" AT THE DOOR, AT RIGHT, WAS CAROLE KASOWSKI,
PASTOR OF THE CHURCH. A NICE TURN-OUT, FOR A NICE EVENT, ON A NICE
FALL DAY. AS ALWAYS, I ATE TOO MUCH!
