"TWO GUYS AUTO REPAIR" ON EAST PLATT REPORTED YESTERDAY THAT
LOCKS WERE PRIED ON THEIR DOORS, BUT ENTRY WAS NOT GAINED.
"FULL THROTTLE POWER SPORTS" ON EAST PLATT ALSO REPORTED
MONDAY EVENING THAT SOMEONE TRIED TO BREAK INTO THEIR BUSINESS BUT WERE NOT SUCCESSFUL.

A BIRTH:   JAMIE AND ERIK KOTEWA OF CHAMPAIGN ARE PARENTS OF A BOY BORN THERE JUNE 19TH.   GRANDPARENTS ARE GENI AND DARRALD CARR
OF MAQUOKETA.
AND ANOTHER BIRTH:   ALLISON AND TONY BOCK OF BALDWIN ARE PARENTS
OF A GIRL BORN JUNE 25TH.    GRANDPARENTS ARE GENI AND DARRALD CARR.   HOW ABOUT THAT, GRANDPARENTS TWICE IN ONE MONTH.
GRANDPARENTS ARE ALSO LORI AND RANDY CROUCH AND DOUG BOCK, ALL OF MAQUOKETA.

YESTERDAY, THE CARDINAL BOYS DEFEATED MT. VERNON 11 TO 5 AND 11 TO 3.   THEY NOW HAVE A RECORD OF 17 AND 10.
THE CARDINAL GIRLS SOFTBALL TEAM SPLIT WITH MT. VERNON...
4 TO 3 AND MAQUOKETA THEN WON THE SECOND GAME 7 TO 6 IN NINE
INNINGS.   THE GIRLS ARE NOW 12 AND 15 OVERALL.
