RADIO BINGO STARTS ON KMAQ JANUARY 17TH...FOR 17 WEEKS. LOTS OF PLAYERS ARE WAITING.
THE KMAQ ANNUAL FARM AND HOME SHOW THIS YEAR IS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, FEBRUARY
3RD AND 4TH...AT THE JACKSON COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.

CHAD HEINZEL (SON OF MR. AND MRS. JERRY HEINZEL OF MAQUOKETA) WAS IN MAQUOKETA TODAY
TO GIVE A PROGRAM AT THE NEW HURSTVILLE INTREPRETIVE CENTER. HE IS A PROFESSOR OF GEOLOGY AT MINOT STATE UNIVERSITY AND THE BROWN BAG LUNCH AT NOON WAS A BIG SUCCESS. THEY HAD TO SET UP ADDITIONAL CHAIRS AND TABLES. HIS TALK DEALT WITH THE HURSTVILLE AREA MAKEUP, FAMOUS A HUNDRED YEARS AGO FOR THE LIMESTONE QUARRIES THERE.
