SOMEONE DUMPED PETROLEUM INTO MAQUOKETA'S WASTEWATER STYSTEM OVER THE WEEKEND, CAUSING SOME PROBLEMS.

THREE BALDWIN RESIDENTS WERE ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH CONSPIRACY TO MANUFACTURE METH, POSSESSION OF METH PRECURSORS AND POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.

ROBERT "KELLY" TACKET, JR...WHO WAS KILLED IN THE AUTO ACCIDENT FRIDAY NIGHT JUST NORTH OF MAQUOKETA, IS SURVIVED BY HIS MOTHER, JANICE BELL OF MAQUOKETA, HIS FATHER AND STEPMOTHER IN MISSOURI, AND HIS SPECIAL FRIEND, CHARLA WAITE OF MAQUOKETA, WHO WAS ALSO IN THE ACCIDENT.
HE WAS AN EX-MARINE AND WORKED FOR A FIRM IN CAMANCHE.

RICHARD STETLER, 78, OF OXFORD JUNCTION, DIED TODAY AT THE VA HOSPITAL.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE A SON IN MAQUOKETA, WILLIAM STETLER.

THERE WILL BE A COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS DINNER CHRISTMAS DAY AT THE EAGLES CLUB IN MAQUOKETA, ON EAST PLATT, SPONSORED BY THE EAST IRON HILL COMMUNITY CHURCH.

THE KMAQ-VOY THEATRES CHRISTMAS PARTY WAS HELD LAST NIGHT AT THE CIRCLE C IN LAMOTTE. NICE PLACE. VERY GOOD FOOD.
