SUNNY AND 38 FOR A HIGH TODAY.

BOYS BASKETBALL OVER THE WEEKEND....MAQUOKETA BEAT SOUTH TAMA IN A WAMAC GAME FRIDAY NIGHT, 77 TO 55 AT THE MCHS GYM AND SATURDAY NIGHT, WENT TO CEDAR RAPIDS AND DEFEATED PRAIRIE HIGH SCHOOL, 73 TO 55.
THE CARDS HAVE NOW WON 5 STRAIGHT AND ARE 10 AND 7 OVERALL AND 8 AND 4 IN THE WAMAC.

ON THE OTHER HAND, THE CARDINALL GIRLS LOST BOTH OF THEIR GAMES, TO FALL TO A 6 AND 14 RECORD. FRIDAY NIGHT, THEY LOST TO SOUTH TAMA 50 TO 28 AND SATURDAY NIGHT, LOST TO BENTON COMMUNITY 58 TO 54. BOTH GAMES ON THE
ROAD.
