THE MAQUOKETA MEA HAS RE-SCHEDULED THEIR MEET THE SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATES FORUM FOR 6 P.M. NEXT WEDNESDAY AT CITY HALL.

MARY HENRY IS THE NEW INTERIM MANAGER OF THE MAQUOKETA COUNTRY CLUB, REPLACING JUDY NEIS. SHE HAS BEEN AN EMPLOYEE OF THE CLUB FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS AND FOR MANY YEARS, WAS MANAGER OF THE FLAP JACK FAMILY RESTAURANT IN MAQUOKETA.
COUNTRY CLUB BOARD PRESIDENT DR. CLIFF RASK, SAID HENRY WILL SERVE AS INTERIM MANAGER UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR. HENRY SAYS SHE MAY BE INTERESTED IN THE POSITION ON A PERMANENT BASIS.

BREAK-IN MONDAY NIGHT AT AWESOME CAR WASH OUT BY WAL-MART....$100 TAKEN IN CASH.

RANDALL LESS OF HOPKINGTON WAS CHARGED WITH THEFT IN THE 2ND DEGREE. HE PURCHASED OVER $5000 WORTH EQUIPMENT AT THE CLINTON ENGINES AUCTION IN DECEMBER AND LOADED UP THE EQUIPMENT AND LEFT WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT.

PAUL AND LINDA DOTTERWICH HAD A BOY YESTERDAY. GRANDPARENTS ARE JERRY AND COLLEEN DOTTERWICK OF OTTER CREEK.
