THURSDAY DAILY REPORT

HIGH TODAY, ONLY 71.
SPRINKLES THIS AFTERNOON.
RAIN TONIGHT AND 50% CHANCE OF RAIN TOMORROW.
WEEKEND FORECAST LOOKS LIKE LITTLE OR NO RAIN SATURDAYK,
SUNDAY OR MONDAY.  MAYBE A LITTLE RAIN LABOR DAY.
HIGHS IN THE LOW 80'S NOW THROUGH MONDAY.

MAQUOKETA LANDLORD ROY WARD TOLD KMAQ TODAY HE
WILL  NOT TEAR DOWN EMMA COURT APARTMENTS (AS HE MENTIONED AT THE LAST CITY COUNCIL MEETING) THIS YEAR, MAYBE NEXT.
HE SAID HE PLANS TO DO SOME MAINTENANCE.

THE MAQUOKETA HOSPITAL BOARD WAS PRESENTED WITH THE ANNUAL
AUDIT AT TUESDAY'S MEETING.     IT SHOWS A VERY LIQUID BALANCE WITH NO DEBT, THAT'S CORRECT, NO DEBT,  AND CASH ON HAND OF NEARLY $16 MILLION DOLLARS.
KEEP IN MIND, THAT AN ADDITION TO THE PRESENT HOSPITAL WITH REMODELING,  OR A NEW HOSPITAL,  IS IN THE FUTURE AND SOME OF THIS MONEY AND ANY FURTHER PROFITS COULD BE USED FOR THAT.

MATERNAL GRANDPARENTS ARE MARK AND JULIE  MILLER OF MAQUOKETA.
PATERNAL GRANDPARENTS ARE DON AND KATHY KUNDE OF MAQUOKETA
AND RICK PETERSEN OF DEWITT.
