WEDNESDAY DAILY REPORT

NOT A LOT OF SUNSHINE TODAY, BUT GOT UP TO 79...WARMER THAN
EXPECTED.
TOMORROW, PARTLY SUNNY AND HIGH OF 77.
77 ALSO FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.  SUNDAY 78.
NO RAIN IN THE FORECAST.

THE MAQUOKETA SCHOOL BOARD MEETING WAS THE ANNUAL
RE-ORGANZATIONAL MEETING AND MIKE HAYWARD WAS RE-ELECTED
PRESIDENT.     DAVID SYBESMA WAS ELECTED VP AND BARB McKEON
WAS APPOINTED BOARD SECRETARY-TREASURER.

THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING QUEEN AND KING CANDIDATES HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED.
QUEEN:   NICOLE FURNE, LIZ GAVIN, JADE KILBURG, CASSIE MILLER,
McKENNA OWEN, SARA SKLADZIEN, JACQUELINE TABOR, AND COLLEENA WILKINS.
FOR KING:   BEAU BOWMAN,LUKE BOWMAN, THOMAS CLARK, CALE GENT,
BEN KILBURG, MITCHELL SCHNEDEN, MING WU AND TONY ZHANG.
THE CORNATION WILL TAKE PLACE THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT 4:30 AT THE HIGH SCHOOL GYM.
THE HOMECOMING GAME IS A WEEK FROM THIS FRIDAY.
THE THEME:  "DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES, STOP UP FOR A WIN"

THE HOSPITAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES THIS WEEK APPROVED AN ADDENDUM TO THE MANAGEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH GENESIS  HEALTH
SYSTEM.    UNDER THE PROPOSAL, THE HOSPITAL WILL PAY GENESIS AN ADDITIONAL 3-PER-CENT PER MONTH FOR MANAGEMENT SERVICES.  THE HOSPITAL COST RETROACTIVE TO JULY 1ST WILL INCREASE TO $15,985
A MONTH.   THE INCREASE IS INCLUDED IN THIS YEAR'S HOSPITAL BUDGET.
THERE WAS NO INCREASE TO GENESIS LAST YEAR.

CLINTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE SUMMER PRESIDENT'S AND DEAN'S LIST
NAMES WERE RELEASED THIS WEEK.
PRESIDENT LIST REQUIRES 6 CREDIT HOURS AND A 4.0 GPA DURING THE
TERM.    MAKING THE PRESIDENT LIST FROM MAQUOKETA, MEGAN MANDERSHEID AND FROM DELMAR, MITCHELL BUDDE AND DAWN McDERMOTT.
MAKING THE DEAN'S LIST FROM MAQUOKETA, LESLEY OTTEN.

FARM SAFETY DAY AT FAIRGROUNDS


EVERY YEAR, THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL FFA SPONSORS FARM SAFETY DAY FOR 3RD GRADERS FROM MAQUOKETA, SACRED HEART, ANDREW AND
DELWOOD.   THEY HAD NICE WEATHER TODAY.   HERE WE SEE THE LINE TO
GO UP AND SIT IN THE BIG JOHN DEERE FOR P & K MIDWEST JOHN DEERE
SOUTH OF MAQUOKETA.



FOR NOON LUNCH, THE FFA MEMBERS PREPARED ....  PLUMP HOTDOGS OFF
THE PORK PRODUCERS GRILL.    THE FIRE DEPARTMENT GAVE SAFETY TIPS ALSO BUT HAD LEFT WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE FAIRGROUNDS.    A GOOD DAY-LONG PROJECT.... SO, THANK YOU GARY BRUNS AND YOUR FFA CHAPTER.
