MONDAY DAILY REPORT

SOME SUNSHINE TODAY.

CITY COUNCIL MEETING TONIGHT

SCHOOL BOARD MEETING TONIGHT.

THE CONSERVATION BOARD MEETS TOMORROW NIGHT AND WILL
ELECT OFFICERS FOR THE COMING YEAR.     THE MEETING WILL
BE AT 6 P.M. AT THE HURSTVILLE INTERPRETIVE CENTER AND IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

GIRL'S BASKETBALL TONIGHT AT THE MAQUOKETA GYM...MAKEUP
GAMES WITH INDEPENDENCE.

THE MAQUOKETA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT BANQUET WAS
SATURDAY NIGHT, AND FIRE CHIEF MARK BECK PRESENTED AN
ACT-OF-VALOR PLAQUE TO FIREMAN MATT TRANEL, AND A CITIZEN
HEROISM AWARD TO MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCILMAN CORY SIMONSON
FOR THEIR ACTIONS IN SAVING A MAN IN A DECEMBER 14TH FIRE
IN MAQUOKETA.

ANOTHER NEAR FULL HOUSE FOR THE ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC
CONCERT AT OHNWARD FINE ARTS IN MAQUOKETA SATURDAY  NIGHT.
THE LAST 3 SHOWS  HAVE ALL BEEN WELL ATTENDED AND MOST
RUN LONGER THAN 2 HOURS.   SATURDAY NIGHT'S SHOW WENT TO
ALMOST 10 P.M.   THE NEXT SHOW WILL BE ON VALENTINE DAY, AT
7 P.M.

THE MAQUOKETA SCHOOL'S EDUCATION FUND COMMITTEE AND THE
ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB ANNUAL CAKE AUCTION  HAS BEEN SET
FOR FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH.     MORE LATER.  ANY QUESTIONS,
