NICE DAY TODAY...HIGH OF 70.
THE REST OF THE WORK WEEK LOOKS GOOD TOO.
THE MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL MEETS TONIGHT. THEY WILL TALK
ABOUT FILLING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT POSITION.
ALSO WILL TALK ABOUT A JOINT BILLING SERVICE FOR WATER AND
SEWER, WITH MAQUOKETA MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC.
ALSO WILL TALK ABOUT THE OPENING ON THE COUNCIL AND
SOME CHANGES FOR THE 17TH STREET PROJECT....THE PAVING OF THE STREET LEADING TO THE PRAIRIE CREEK GOLF COURSE AND HOUSES IN THAT SUB-DIVISION.
AND THERE ARE A COUPLE OTHER ITEMS ON A LONGER THAN NORMAL
AGENDA.
THE SUPERVISORS HELD A MEETING TODAY REGARDING THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT ISSUE AND DECIDED TO TAKE THEIR TIME AND LOOK AT
VARIOUS OPTIONS BEFORE DECIDING WHAT TO DO.
IN BUSINESS NEWS....A NEW BUSINESS IN MAQUOKETA....ROB'S GARBAGE
ROUTE. ROB WILL CLEAN OUT HOUSES, BUILDINGS....WHATEVER YOU NEED
SAYS HIS BUSINESS CARD. I DON'T HAVE HIS LAST NAME. THE CELL
PHONE NUMBER IS 563-593-2237. THE LATE BOBBIE GRAVES DID A LOT
OF THIS, SO THIS SERVICE SHOULD BE GOOD FOR MAQUOKETA.
HAVE A GOOD WEEK.
