BEAUTIFUL FALL DAY IN IOWA.

AM DOING THIS SHORT REPORT FROM MY HOME....KIND OF A TEST.....USING WHAT USED TO BE CALLED...THE WEB-TV. NO COMPUTER.

IOWA WON A GREAT HOMECOMING GAME YESTERDAY AGAINST MICHIGAN.

MAQUOKETA LOST TO GRINELL FRIDAY NIGHT, BY ANOTHER HEFTY SCORE.
THEY ARE NOW 0 AND 5. BUT..THE SOPHOMORE TEAM WON AGAIN, BY 1 POINT AND THEY ARE NOW 5 AND 0.

AN ACCIDENT OF SOME SORT OUT AT THE MAQUOKETA CAVES STATE PARK EARLY THIS AFTERNOON....LOTS OF SIRENS.
WILL PROBABLY HAVE MORE TOMORROW ON IT.

LEAVES ARE FALLING LIKE CRAZY IN MAQUOKETA.

THEY ARE GETTING READY TO PAVE THE BIG PARKING LOT AT THE NEW TRUE VALUE AND DICK'S SUPERMARKET STORES.

COMING LATER THIS MONTH AT THE ANDREW-JACKSON DEMONSTRATION FARM, AN OLD FASHIONED CORN PICKING CONTEST. PICKING BY HAND. LAST ONE WAS IN 1941.

MAQUOKETA CHICAGO CUBS FANS ARE ON EDGE.
