NO CHANGE IN FORECAST...MORE, EVEN WARMER WEATHER COMING,
WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN BEFORE THE WEEK IS OVER.

MAQUOKETA FIREMEN SPENT 6 HOURS BATTLING A GRASS FIRE
FROM 3 UNTIL  9 P.M. YESTERDAY.

 AN  OPEN BURNING BAN GOES INTO EFFECT IN JACKSON COUNTY TOMORROW MORNING, BECAUSE OF THE DRY CONDITIONS.'

CITY MANAGER BRIAN WAGNER WAS NOT AT THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING LAST NIGHT.    HE IS IN THE FINLEY HOSPITAL IN DUBUQUE WHERE HE
UNDERWENT EMERGENCY GALL BLADDER SURGERY.    HE IS BEING
TREATED FOR INFECTION AND HOPES TO BE HOME BY THE END OF THE
WEEK AND BACK ON THE JOB BY THE END OF THE MONTH.

WITH THE PARADE FRIDAY NIGHT AT 6:30  (I'LL BE BROADCASTING IT ON KMAQ) AND ENDS SUNDAY.    GUY, BY THE WAY, IS A FARMER AND SEEDCORN
SALESMAN AND SON ANDY IS MORNING ANNOUNCER ON WMT.  
TAKE IN THE WYOMING FAIR THIS WEEKEND.
