HERITAGE AREA.
IN THE AREA OF FOOD PRODUCTION, IOWANS HAVE TAKEN A ROLE
ON THE FOREFRONT OF FEEDING THE WORLD. ACCORDING TO THE UNITED
NATIONS DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS, THE GLOBAL
POPULATION WILL HIT NINE BILLION BY 2050. FEEDING THE WORLD
IS NO SMALL TASK AND THIS EXHIBIT COMING TO THE HURSTVILLE
INTERPRETIVE CENTER FEATURES IOWAN'S ROLE IN ASSISTING THOSE IN NEED TO MEET THE CHANGING DATES OF BILLIONS.
VISTITORS WILL LEARN IOWANS ARE NOT ONLY IN AGRICULTURE, BUT ALSO
IN EDUCATION, TECHNOLOGY, COMMUNICATION, LEGISLATION AND TRANSPORTATION. SAID LAURA ELFERS, THE INTERPRETATION MANAGER
