FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11 MONDAY MORNING AT THE FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN MARSHALLTOWN FOR MARLIS HORGEN, 77,
OF MARSHALLTOWN. MARLIS IS SURVIVED BY ONE BROTHER, BLAINE BOCK OF MAQUOKETA AND ONE SISTER.
FAY TEMPLETON, 83, OF DEWITT, DIED YESTERDAY AT HIS HOME. HE WAS A 1950 GRADUATE OF MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL AND WORKED FOR A TIME AT CLINTON ENGINES. THEN MOVED TO DEWITT WHERE HE WORKED FOR THE GAS CO-OP AND WAS A POLICE OFFICER. SURVIVORS INCLUDE HIS WIFE VIRGINIA, AND 6 CHILDREN, INCLUDING STEVE TEMPLETON OF MAQUOKETA.
THE FUNERAL WILL BE TUESDAY MORNING AT DEWITT.
