AS CITY MANAGER OF DYERSVILLE....THROUGH JUNE 30TH OF 2019.
LATE LAST YEAR, THERE WAS A MOVEMENT BY SOME CITY OFFICIALS
TO REPLACE HIM.    HIS ANNUAL SALARY WILL BE $96,500 WITH A 2-PERCENT RAISE ON JULY 1ST OF 2017 AND 2018 AND 4 WEEKS OF VACATION AND $500 A MONTH FOR CAR ALLOWANCE AND GENERAL EXPENSES.

KMAQ NEWS WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A CORRECTION TO A STORY WE
AIRED YESTERDAY ABOUT RAISES FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS.
THE COMPENSATION BOARD HAD RECOMMENDED 3.5 PERCENT FOR
THE SHERIFF AND COUNTY ATTORNEY AND 3 PERCENT FOR THE AUDITOR, RECORDER, TREASURER AND THE 3 SUPERVISORS.   BY LAW, THE
SUPERVISORS CAN NOT GO OVER THAT RECOMMENDATIONS BUT CAN
GO UNDER.     YESTERDAY, SUPERVISORS DID NOT FOLLOW THE
RECOMMENDATIONS BUT INSTEAD DID LOWER THE RECOMENDATIONS FOR ALL, TO 2.5 FOR THE SHERIFF AND ATTORNEY AND 2% FOR THE OTHERS.
JACKSON COUNTY'S HIGHEST PAID COUNTY EMPLOYEE IS COUNTY ATTORNEY SARA DAVENPORT WHO WILL BE PAID $88,900.
