THIS IS A VIEW FROM THE NEW MAQUOKETA RIVER WALK AT THE NORTH SIDE
OF MAQUOKETA, ALONG THE MAQUOKETA RIVER. THE WALK IS OVER A HALF-MILE LONG
AND REALLY NICE. A NEW BOAT RAMP HAS ALSO BEEN PUT THERE. NEXT TIME YOU
VISIT MAQUOKETA, WALK THE MAQUOKETA RIVER WALK. FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF
MAQUOKETA, THAT YOU CAN WALK ALONG THE RIVER SAFELY AND ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL
MAQUOKETA RIVER.
IT IS A VERY BUSY TIME OF THE YEAR FOR ME. AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE FOR A COUPLE
MORE WEEKS. I WILL BE AT A MOVIE CONVENTION THIS WEEK AND WILL BE WITH THE
KMAQ TRAVEL BUS TO BRANSON FOR 4 DAYS NEXT WEEK.
SO, THERE WILLBE NO DAILY REPORT UNTIL MONDAY, MAY 14, 2007.
THE WEATHER THIS PAST WEEKEND WAS VERY NICE AND TODAY, SUNNY AND
IN THE 80'S.
THE BIDS FOR THE FIRE STATION ADDITION CAME IN LAST WEEK AND THE LOW BID
WAS VERY GOOD. THE ENTIRE PROJECT WILL BE LESS THAN 1 AND 1/2 MILLION DOLLARS.
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT AND CHECK BACK AGAIN ON MAY 14TH.
