WEDNESDAY DAILY REPORT

NICE SUNNY DAY TODAY, AND AGAIN IN THE UPPER 60'S.
TOMORROW SHOULD BE THE SAME.

LOTS OF HAPPY ST. LOUIS CARDINAL FANS HERE AT THE STATION TODAY.
THEY NEXT TAKE ON THE GIANTS SATURDAY NIGHT AND WE WILL HAVE THE
GAME ON KMAQ-FM.

CLINTON COUNTY DEPUTY SHERIFF SCOTT WAINWRIGHT INVESTIGATED A SEMI ACCIDENT SOUTEAST OF DELMAR.   JAKE FRAHM, 24, OF RURAL DELMAR WAS THE DRIVER AND WHEN HIS WHEELS DROPPED OFF THE ROADWAY, HE WENT INTO THE SOUTH DITCH AND THE SEMI OVERTURNED ONTO ITS SIDE.   HE WAS NOT  HURT AND WAS CHARGED.   $35,000  DAMAGE TO THE SEMI.


ANOTHER DEER-VEHICLE ACCIDENT LAST NIGHT AND TWO MORE THIS MORNING.    DRIVERS WERE CORY MECHTELL, ROBERT CONNELLY,
AND AMY TJADEN.

THE CITY OF MAQUOKETA  HAS SOME UNSOLD ITEMS LEFT FROM A RECENT AUCTION AND WILL GIVE THESE TO AREA RESIDENTS ON A FIRST-COME,
FIRST-SERVE BASIS.    STOP AT CITY HALL.

THE CITY HAS APPROVED A CITIZEN'S COMMITTEE TO WORK ON A PUBLIC
SAFETY COMMITTEE ON A NEW LANDLORD ORDINACE FOR MAQUOKETA.
MEMBERS ARE:   TERRY CREEGAN, CHUCK CURRENT,     RHONDA PAPE,
TOM SIMPSON, PAM EGGERS, TIFFANY MANGLER, AND BARB SCHROEDER.
CITY MANAGER BRIAN WAGNER AND POLICE CHIEF BRAD KORANDA WILL
REPRESENT THE CITY ON THE COMMITTEE.
