"MIXER" AT THE DECKER HOTEL LOUNGE. THE NEW GROUP HAS BEEN STARTED TO GIVE MORE SUPPORT TO THE SCHOOLS. THE GROUP WILL SOON HAVE A WEB SITE UP AND RUNNING. FORMING THE NEW GROUP ... KEVIN BOWMAN, DON CARSON, BOB GAVIN, BRIAN MOORE, KERRY SHEPERS, CHAD SPECHT AND DOUG KNICKREHM.

A SUCCESSFUL BLOOD DRIVE WAS HELD TODAY AT THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL GYM, SPONSORED BY THE BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONALS OF AMERICA CHAPTER AT THE HIGH SCHOOL. DURING THE5-HOUR LONG DRIVE, A TOTAL OF 88 UNITS OF BLOOD WERE COLLECTED.

CHELSEA BECK, AGE 87, OF MAQUOKETA DIED YESTERDAY AT THE LOCAL HOSPITAL.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE A SON AND A DAUGHTER AND STEP-CHILDREN, INCLUDING TOM CHRISTOFFERSEN OF MAQUOKETA. HE WAS A FARMER AND RETIRED IN 1979.
