TUESDAY DAILY REPORT

PARTY SUNNY TODAY, HIGH IN THE 40'S.
THE REST OF THE WEEK, LOOKS GOOD, INCLUDING THE WEEKEND.

IN SPORTS:    LAST NIGHT, THE MAQUOKETA CARDINAL BASKETBALL TEAM
LOST THEIR TOURNAMENT GAME, HERE, TO DAVENPORT ASSUMPTION.
THE CARDS TRAILED MOST OF THE GAME, BUT THEN TIED IT UP AND WENT
AHEAD IN THE 4TH QUARTER, ONLY TO LOOSE IN THE LAST MINUTE,  54 TO 51.     SENIOR JONATHAN ERNST HAD 18 POINTS,  ABE KINRAID HAD 16 AND
SKYLAR BRONSON, 13.   MAQUOKETA FINISHED THE SEASON WITH A
12 AND 10 RECORD.
WITH AN UNDER CLASSMEN TEAM, THE MAQUOKETA CARDINAL BOYS
BOWLING TEAM FINISHED IN 3RD PLACE IN T HE CLASS 1-A STATE BOWLING
TOURNAMENT AT DES MOINES.   MAQUOKETA PLACED THIRD WITH 3,035
PINS.    JUNIOR ZACH LANNING LED MAQUOKETA WITH GAMES OF 181 AND 266 FOR A 447  SERIES.    THAT WAS THE 4TH BEST OF THE DAY.
BOWLING FOR MAQUOKETA, SOPHOMORE LUKE BRAME, SOPHOMORE CONNOR SCHNOOR, JUNIOR ISAAC ANDRESEN, JUNIOR MATT BAKER, AND JUNIOR DEVIN EHLERS.

AT THE OHNWARD BOX OFFICE MORNING.     RECOGNIZE ANYONE?   I SEE
DR. CRAIG ROSE AT LEFT, CLAIRE HOYE AT RIGHT,  CONNIE  HENSLEY, AND
JULIE STREETS AND JACK JONES AND ROCHELLE RAY.   
SHOULD BE A GREAT SHOW THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT AND
SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

THE IOWA HAWKEYES HAVE A BIG GAME AGAINST WISCONSIN TOMORROW NIGHT AT IOWA CITY.     WISCONSIN IS HOT.

"DIRTY GRANDPA" STARTS FRIDAY, FOR ONE WEEK ONLY, AT THE VOY
THEATRE IN MAQUOKETA.

KURT ULRICH OF RURAL MAQUOKETA IS IN THE NEWS AGAIN...,.
