THE SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION BANQUET WAS HELD THIS WEEK AT THE CLINTON ENGINES MUSEUM. AWARDS WERE PRESENTED TO
ISAAC SUTTON FOR THE BEGINNING FARMER AWARD. ERWIN FELDERMAN
RECEIVED A TETE DES MORTS WATER QUALITY AWARD. DENNIS HANKEMEYER WAS NOT PRESENT BUT WON THE VOLUNTARY CONSERVATION AWARD. THE MAQUOKETA FARMERS MARKET ALSO WON THE COMMUNITY CONSERVATION AWARD.
