WEDNESDAY DAILY REPORT

SUNNY....BRIGHT SUNSHINE TODAY....4 BELOW LAST NIGHT.

NO SCHOOL AGAIN TODAY.

ANDREW AND EAST VALLEY SCHOOL SUPT. ANDREW CROZIER
OF ANDREW TUESDAY WAS CHECKING ROADS FOR THE DISTRICT AND SLID OFF THE ROAD ON 298TH AVENUE.  HIS  VEHICLE WENT OUT OF
CONTROL ON THE SNOW COVERED ROAD WHEN MAKING A 90-DEGREE
TURN AND WENT INTO THE DITCH AND THROUGH A FENCE.
NO INJURIES AND DAMAGE TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICE SUBURBAN ESTIMATED AT $10,000.

DRUM, "JAZZ PIRATES".     GOSH, IF THEY WERE AROUND TODAY, THEY
COULD PLAY AT THE KMAQ FARM AND  HOME SHOW AND AT  THE OHNWARD
FINE ARTS CENTER.  

BUD REISEN, AGE 85, OF ZWINGLE DIED SUNDAY.   HE WORKED FOR
CLINTON ENGINES IN MAQUOKETA  FOR OVER 25 YEARS.     SURVIVORS
INCLUDE HIS WIFE JEAN, A SON, A DAUGHTER, 4 GRANDCHILDREN
AND A BROTHER.   THE FUNERAL IS TOMORROW AT THE LEONARD
FUNERAL HOME IN DUBUQUE.

PUT ANOTHER LOG ON THE FIRE.
