BRANDON O'MEARA WAS ARRESTED AT THEIR HOME AT 413 S. SECOND STREET THIS MORNING. CHIEF BRAD KORANDA SAID O'MEARA WAS MAD
BECAUSE HIS GRANDMOTHER HAD TURNED OFF HIS SPACE HEATER.
O'MEARA WAS CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC ASSAULT ENHANCED BECAUSE
OF THE WEAPON INVOLVED. HE WAS ALSO CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF
DRUG PARAPHENALIA. OFFICERS FOUND A POT PIPE IN O'MEARA'S ROOM.
VETERAN JACKSON COUNTY DEPUTY ED CLARK WILL BE RETIRING THIS
JUNE. THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS THIS MORNING APPROVED AN EARLY RETIREMENT. HE HAS BEEN WITH THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE FOR 38 YEARS.
HE WILL BE 62 IN OCTOBER.
