WEDNESDAY DAILY REPORT

SUNSHINE TODAY AND HIGH OF 9.    NOT WINDY.
ALL SCHOOL DISTRICTS HAD CLASSES TODAY.
TOMORROW, WARMER.
FRIDAY COULD BE BAD WITH RAIN AND SLEET IN FORECAST, BUT IN 30'S.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY LOOKING GOOD....SUNNY AND MID 30'S.

MAQUOKETA MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC UTILITY IS WARNING RESIDENTS OF A POSSIBLE EMAIL SCAM.     SOME RESIDENTS HAVE CALLED IN TO THE OFFICE TO SAY THEY RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM   ATMOST  ENERGY AND PG AND E.
SOME GOT EMAIL ENERGY BILLS OF MORE THAN $300.   MMEU BOARD
SECRETARY NANCY BUCK SAID MMEU DOES NOT SEND OUT EMAILS FOR
BILLS.   SHE SAID ATMOS ENERGY HAS POSTED A WARNING ON ITS WEB
SITE SAYING THERE IS A SCAM GOING ON USING THEIR NAME.

POLICE BLOTTER:   A WINDOW BROKEN LAST NIGHT AT MAQ-TOWN
DINER ON EAST PLATT.

COUNTY BLOTTER:   VANDALISM AT THE ST. DONATUS CITY HALL,
DONE BY SPRAY PAINTING.

SCHOOL BOARD MEETING AT 4:30 THURSDAY AFTERNOON AT THE
DISTRICT OFFICE  (HAD BEEN SCHEDULED MONDAY AND POSTPONED
BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER)  DEALING WITH THE SEARCH FOR A NEW
SUPERINTENDENT.    OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

WE ARE CURRENTLY AIRING 14 OBITUARIES FROM THE KMAQ AREA.

"SAVING MR. BANKS" STARTS FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE THEATRE.
TOM HANKS AS WALT DISNEY.     LOTS OF GOOD COMMENTS ON IT.
SOME GOOD MOVIES COMING OUT WEEKLY NATIONWIDE.   AT LEAST,
WE HOPE THEY WILL BE GOOD.
