THE MAQUOKETA MAN, GERALD EDWARDS, AGE 63,  WHO SAID AN INTRUDER SHOT HIM APRIL 25TH WHILE IN HIS HOME IS STILL IN UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL IN IOWA CITY AND REMAINS IN STABLE CONDITION.    POLICE CHIEF BRAD KORANDA SAID HE SUFFERED SOME COMPLICATIONS WHICH RESULTED IN HIM STAYING LONGER THAN ANTICIPATED. 

JACKSON COUNTY CONSERVATION HAS GAIN CLOSED SPRUCE CREEK PARK CAMPGROUND NORTH OF BELLEVUE DUE TO FLOODING.

MAQUOKETA CITY COUNCIL MEETING TONIGHT.   THE COUNCIL WILL
BE TALKING ABOUT THE AIRPORT, LITTLE BEAR PARK, CLEANING UP THE RIGHT-OF-WAY AT THE FAMILY DOLLAR DISTRIBUTION CENTER, AND THE
COMMUNITY CENTER. 

WET GROUNDS AND NO STOCK CAR RACING LAST SATURDAY NIGHT IN
MAQUOKETA.

THIS IS THE FINAL WEEK OF FREE RADIO BINGO ON KMAQ AM & FM.
BINGO, AT 3:30 EACH WEEKDAY AFTERNOON,  WILL RETURN AGAIN NEXT JANUARY.
