THIS IS THE MAQUOKETA CAVES STATE PARK VISITOR'S CENTER, AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE PARK. HAD BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I STOPPED IN, SO DID SO SUNDAY.
IT WAS BUSY. ABOUT A DOZEN PEOPLE LOOKED AT THE SHORT VIDEO AND THEN
LOOKED AT THE OTHER PHOTOS AND DISPLAYS. GOOD TO VISIT THIS BUILDING BEFORE GOING DOWN TO THE POPULAR PARK AND GOING THROUGH THE CAVES.
NO ADMISSION CHARGE. THERE IS A SMALL GIFT SHOP. VOLUNTEERS OPEN THE CENTER EVERY WEEKEND DURING THE SUMMER. WELL DONE INSIDE AND OUT.
PUT IT ON YOUR LIST OF PLACES TO VISIT NEXT TIME YOU VISIT MAQUOKETA.
A HALF-HOUR OR LESS WILL DO IT.
