FIREWORKS THAT NIGHT.

THERE WILL BE FIREWORKS SATURDAY NIGHT, JULY 7TH, AT THE FAIRGROUNDS AFTER THE STOCK CAR RACES.

SORRY I'VE MISSED A LOT OF REPORTS LATELY. MANY REASONS. I HAVE BEEN THE ESCORT ON TWO KMAQ TRAVEL TRIPS....A 4-DAY TO NASHVILLE AND A 1-DAY TO SPRINGFIELD.
ALSO, KMAQ WAS HIT BY LIGHTNING OVER A WEEK AGO, KNOCKING OUT OUR PHONES, SOME COMPUTERS, OUR SAT DISH AND MORE. NEW PHONE SYSTEM GETS INSTALLED NEXT WEEK.

THE MAQUOKETA BOYS BASEBALL TEAM IS 12 AND 10 THESE DAYS. 5 AND 7 IN THE WAMAC.
THE OTHER NIGHT, LUKE PATTERSON, WHO JUST GRADUATED, HIT A GRAND SLAM HOME RUN AGAINST NORTHEAST AND IT WAS HIS 27TH HOME RUN IN HIS CAREER AS A CARDINAL, ESTABLSING A NEW HOME RUN RECORD FOR MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL.
MELISSA AND NOAH NUSBAUM OF MAQUOKETA HAD A BOY THIS PAST MONDAY AT THE LOCAL HOSPITAL.
KARISA AND STACY BROWN OF BALDWIN HAS A GIRL THIS PAST TUESDAY AT THE LOCAL HOSPITAL.
GRAND PARENTS ARE LON MYATT OF BALDWIN AND VICKI CARTER OF MAQUOKETA.
