NICE..BUT WARMM TODAY...HIGH OF 84.

JURY SELECTION BEGINS MONDAY AT CLINTON DISTRICT COURT FOR THE MARK WILLEY TRIAL. THE TRIAL IS EXPECTED TO LAST FOR 3 DAYS.

SABULA RESIDENTS GO TO THE POLLS TUESDAY TO ELECT A MAYOR.
THEY HAVE HAD TWO MAYORS RESIGN THIS YEAR AND HAVE AN INTERIM MAYOR NOW.

YARDA JOSEPHINE McGREGOR, AGE 84, OF MAQUOKETA, DIED LAST FRIDAY AT A DAVENPORT CARE CENTER. HER FULL OBITUARY CAN BE READ AT

AT COFFEE THIS MORNING, BOB STOCKHAM BROUGHT ALONG JOHN
PHILLIPS OF DENVER AREA. HE IS VISITING HIS HOMETOWN TO ATTEND HIS 65TH HIGH SCHOOL RE-UNION TOMORROW NIGHT AT THE EAGLES CLUB IN MAQUOKETA. HIS DAD WAS LONGTIME DENTIST, BEN PHILLIPS.
HE HAS BEEN LONGTIME FRIEND OF THE STOCKHAMS, AND IS RETIRED FROM LAZY BOY FURNITURE. A REGULAR READER OF THIS REPORT IN COLORADO.

I LOST A REGULAR READER OF THIS REPORT JULY 1ST. LYNN WINK, AGE 68, OF SAN DIEGO, DIED AT HOME. HE WAS BORN IN ANAMOSA. SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE BELINDA, AND 3 DAUGHTERS. HE RETIRED FROM THE US NAVY IN 1986.
