I'M BACK FROM GETTING MY HAIRCUT....
LOOKS NICE.
NICE WEATHER TODAY AND THE WEEKEND SHOULD BE NICE ALSO.
TODAY, HIGH IN THE LOW 80'S. WE ENDED UP WITH 4 AND A HALF
INCHES OF RAIN IN MAY....ALMOST DOUBLE LAST MAY.
ELDON HAZER OF MAQUOKETA IS 78 TODAY...AND STILL SELLING CARS FOR BRAD DEERY MOTORS.....PART-TIME.
HEARD AT COFFEE TODAY THAT MAQUOKETA SURGEON, DR. (ELVIS) ATIENZA BOUGHT HIS FIRST MOTORCYCLE RECENTLY AND LAST NIGHT, TOOK A LITTLE SPILL WITH IT IN THE BACK YARD. HE'S DEALING WITH A PULLED TENDON TODAY AND CONSEQUENTLY, NO GOLF FOR AT LEAST A COUPLE WEEKS....AND.....PER WISHES OF HIS WIFE....HIS CYCLING DAYS HAVE COME TO AN END PERMANTLY. AN ELVIS SONG HE SINGS COMES TO MIND...."ALL SHOOK UP".
DORIS ELKINS OF MAQUOKETA, AGE 77, DIED YESTERDAY MORNING.
THE FULL OBITUARY IS AT www.carsonandson.com
