HIGH AROUND 40 TODAY AGAIN...WITH MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES.

HEARD RUMOR TODAY THAT THE LARGE GENERAC PLANT IN NEW MAQUOKETA INDUSTRIAL PARK WAS PLANNING TO BOOST EMPLOYMENT SOON BY QUITE A BIT. THAT WOULD BE GREAT NEWS.

THE MAQUOKETA BOYS PLAY HOST TO MARION TONIGHT, IN WAMAC PLAY AND THEN PLAY ONE MORE WAMAC GAME, MAKE-UP, AGAINST INDEPENDENCE THIS THURSDAY NIGHT. IF THEY WIN BOTH, THEY WILL BE THE OUTRIGHT WAMAC CHAMPS. THEY HAVE DEFEATED MARION ALREADY ONCE THIS SEASON, BUT MARION IS A MUCH IMPROVED BALL TEAM SINCE THEN. IN FACT, THEY JUST RECENTLY DEFEATED RATED DEWITT CENTRAL. SO THE GAME SHOULD BE A GOOD ONE TONIGHT. AND....IT IS MARION THEY FACE NEXT MONDAY NIGHT IN THEIR OPENING TOURNAMENT GAME.
