SUNDAY DAILY

BOTH THE MAQUOKETA BOYS AND GIRLS WON THEIR GAMES FRIDAY NIGHT OVER SOUTH TAMA.    THE BOYS WON 78 TO 46 AND THE GIRLS 57 TO 53.
THE CARDINAL BOYS ARE  NO 5 AND  0 AND THE GIRLS 4 AND 1.

WE WENT LAST NIGHT AND ENJOYED  IT VERY MUCH.      GREAT
VOCAL TALENT AT MCHS FOR JOEL TO WORK WITH.   A FEW PHOTOS BELLOW.
THE HAND BELL CHOIR
THAT'S OUR KMAQ STUDENT ANNOUNCER IN THE  FRONT ROW, BRETT MASSEY...SURROUNDED BY ALL THOSE GIRLS.

DOUG MELVOLD IN BLUE GAVE THE PROGRAM AT ROTARY LAST WEDNESDAY, ABOUT THE SHIP HIS
FATHER, THE LATE ROBERT MELVOLD, COMMANDED.
CLICK-ON ROTARY BUTTON ON KMAQ HOME PAGE
FOR MORE ABOUT THE SHIP.

NANCY AND I ENJOYED THE ONCE-A-MONTH FRIDAY
FISH FRY AT THE LOWDEN LEGION.    LOWDEN,  A
HALF-HOUR FROM MAQUOKETA IS A NICE LITTLE
CEDAR COUNTY COMMUNITY, WITH LOTS OF KMAQ
LISTENERS.    THE LEGION MAKES SURE THEY HAVE
THIER FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH EVENT ON OUR
COMMUNITY EVENTS CALENDAR EACH MONTH.
VERY NICE LEGION BUILDING AND A VERY ACTIVE
POST.   THEY SERVE AROUND 400 EVERY MONTH....
WITH THEIR DELICIOUS FISH DINNERS.
