WEDNESDAY DAILY



























THE NEW "FRONT ENTRANCE" LOOK OF THE DECKER HOTEL AND RESTAURANT,
AFTER DOORS REFINISHED AND ENTRYWAY PAINTED.    REFLECTION OF KMAQ
IN LEFT DOOR WINDOWS.     IT  HAS BEEN MANY YEARS SINCE THE TWO DOORS
HAVE LOOKED THIS GOOD.
YESTERDAY FROM 4:30 P.M. UNTIL 6:30, IT  WAS "BUSINESS AFTER HOURS" AT THE DECKER FOR MEMBERS OF THE MAQUOKETA AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
FOOD AND WINE AND TOURS ENJOYED BY MANY.     I HAD MY CAMERA  ALONG OF COURSE.
AFTER WALKING UP THE OPEN STAIRWAY IN THE LOBBY, THIS
LOOK OF THE 2ND STORY HALLWAY WITH ROOMS ON EACH
SIDE.     SOME VISITORS AT THE END.   WE COULD HAVE TAKEN
THE ELEVATOR AND DID USE IT LATER WHEN GOING DOWN.
ONE OF THE 15 ROOMS, ALL WITH ANTIQUE FURNITURE.   THERE ARE 
DIFFERENT SIZE ROOMS AND THERE IS ONE SUITE OF 3 ROOMS, WITH
3 BEDS.   ROOMS START AT $79.00 A NIGHT.
A TYPICAL 2ND FLOOR BATHROOM.     THIRD FLOOR BATHROOMS
ALL HAVE A JACUZI.

ONE LOOK AT  "TREVIN'S BUFFALO BAR"  IN BASEMENT.   SEE 
THE BUFFALO IN THE FLOOR.    BEEN THERE MANY, MANY YEARS.
ANOTHER LOOK!   "TREVIN'S BUFFALO BAR"
IS OPEN AT 4:30 P.M. WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
THERE IS AN OUTSIDE STAIRWAY ENTRANCE 
AND A STAIRWAY FROM THE LOBBY.
A PHOTO OF KMAQ FROM THE 3RD FLOOR SUITE.   THERE ARE THREE BUILDINGS
IN MAQUOKETA WITH 3 FLOORS ABOVE GROUND.   ONE 4TH FLOOR BUILDING....
THE HURST HOTEL APARTMENTS.    THE 4TH FLOOR IS A COMMUNITY ROOM AND
YOU CAN TAKE THE ELEVATOR UP ANYTIME AND TAKE A LOOK DOWN ON MAIN.

KMAQ IS GLAD TO HAVE OUR NEIGHBOR....THE DECKER HOTEL AND RESTAURANT.... AGAIN OPEN AND ENTERTAINING LOCALS AND TOURISTS.


WE STILL HAVE THESE LEGION RAFFLE TICKETS FOR SALE HERE
AT KMAQ.   ABOUT 200 A SOLD AND DURING THE YEAR, T HERE
WILL BE 48 TOTAL NAMES DRAWN FOR THE $25 PRIZE.    GREAT
CHANCE TO WIN SOME MONEY.   WE ARE SELLING QUITE A FEW HERE.
I THINK WE HAVE EVEN HAD ONE SALE AS A RESULT OF THIS DAILY.

THE BOYS TOOK 4TH PLACE (OUT OF 7 TEAMS)
AT DEWITT.     DEWITT TOOK FIRST.
BEST MAQUOKETA SCORE, 84 BY CAIDEN ATIENZA

THE GIRS PLAYED AT PRESTON PLUM RIVER AND
CAME IN 2ND TO MONTICELLO.    MONTE 341, 
MAQUOKETA 345.     CARDINAL TAYLOR THEDE TOOK
2ND PLACE FOR THE DAY WITH HERE 79.
