TILL OF RURAL MAQUOKETA  AND  SUPERVISOR LARRY McDEVITT ARE OPPOSING EACH OTHER ON THE DISTRICT 3 DEMOCRATIC SIDE .....AND FOR DISTRICT 3 ON THE REPUBLICAN TICKET, UNOPPOSED, IS JEFF HOLTZ OF RURAL MAQUOKETA.   COUNTY TREASURER NANCY ROLING WILL RETIRE AT THE END OF THE YEAR.    ARLENE LYON IS RUNNING AS A DEMOCRAT FOR TREASURER AND BETH GERLACH WILL BE THE REPUBLICAN FOR TREASURER.     SINCE LYON IS UNOPPOSED, I AM
SURPRISED SHE  HAS YARD SIGNS.    SO, THE ONLY
LOCAL COUNTY CONTEST JUNE 5TH, IS THE 
CONTEST BETWEEN AND TILL AND McDEVITT.
HAVE SEEN NO McDEVITT YARD SIGNS YET.

IN GIRLS GOLF YESTERDAY AT THUNDER HILLS,
THE WAMAC MEET WAS WON BY WILLIAMSBURG.
ANAMOSA CAME IN 2ND, DEWITT 3RD, AND MAQUOKETA 4TH, ONE STROKE BEHIND DEWITT.
MEDALIST WAS TAYLOR THEDE OF MAQUOKETA WITH AN 84, INCLUDING 2 BIRDIES.
IN THE BOYS CONFERENCE MEET, 16 TEAMS PLAYING AT ANAMOSA, DEWITT TOOK FIRST WITH A 316 SCORE AND THE CARDINALS 9TH WITH A SCORE
OF 371.   CAIDEN ATIENZA HAD BEST MAQUOKETA
SCORE, SHOOTING AN 85.
