THURSDAY DAILY

BIG JOB REBUILDING THE ALLEY BEHIND KMAQ AND MAQUOKETA STATE BANK.
PHOTO TAKEN THIS MORNING.    M-S-B'S DRIVE-UP LANES ARE CLOSED, BUT
THEIR WEST SIDE LANES ARE  OPEN.

SCHUELLER AND SONS RECONSTRUCTION  (CONTRACTOR FOR MANY YEARS) HAS JUST COMPLETED THEIR NEW HEADQUARTERS ON EAST PLATT.   REALLY NICE ADDITION TO EAST PLATT/HIGHWAY 64.     YEARS AGO,
THIS WAS THE LOCATION FOR MANY YEARS OF RICH WELDING.    THE PART AT
RIGHT WAS ADDED FOR MORE ROOM LAST YEAR.   SCHUELLER'S CAN DO ANYTHING FROM A GARAGE, NEW KITCHEN OR BATH, SIDEWALK, NEW WINDOWS, TO A DECK
OR PATIO....YOU NAME IT.

AT THE STATE TRACK MEET THIS WEEK, SOPHOMORE CARI PICKUP, JUNIOR
NATHAN WATTERS AND JUNIOR ZAK SCARE.

ONLY 103 GRADUATES THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT THE MAQUOKETA HIGH SCHOOL...LOWEST NUMBER IN YEARS.    JUST A COUPLE YEARS AGO, THERE WERE AROUND 150.     A CONCERN OF MANY.
BACCALAUREATE SERVICE FOR THE GRADUATES WAS HELD LAST NIGHT AT THE METHODIST CHURCH AND BROADCAST ON KMAQ.
I HEARD THERE WERE ABOUT A DOZEN GRADS THERE .....AND..... THAT IS WAS A WELL-DOWN SERVICE.
