FRIDAY NIGHT, THE MAQUOKETA BOYS WON THEIR THIRD GAME IN A ROW,
HERE, DEFEATING VINTON SHELLSBURG, 51 TO 44. THEY NOW ARE 4 AND 4 IN THE WAMAC.
AND, THE CARDINAL GIRLS ALSO WON, 71 TO 57 AT VINTON, AND NOW ARE 5 AND 4.
WE ATE AT THE PUB CLUB LAST NIGHT AT LOST NATION AND I COULD
NOT RESIST TAKING THIS PHOTO, WITH THE TREE IN THE MIDDLE OF
THE DOWNTOWN MAIN INTERSECTION. WAY OVER 50 YEARS AGO,
AT MAQUOKETA'S BIG INTERSECTION OF MAIN AND PLATT, THERE WAS
A YEAR-AROUND STOP-AND-GO LIGHT IN MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION.
ANYONE REMEMER IT?
ACROSS THE DINING ROOM FROM US, THIS HAPPY GROUP....AND AGAIN,
I COULDN'T RESIST TAKING A PHOTO, WHICH INCLUDES 4 ROOT BEER
EMPTY BOTTLES. I'M SURE MANY OF YOU KNOW THOSE ABOVE. AS ALWAYS, NANCY AND I ENJOYED THE DINNER.
HAVE A GOOD WEEK WITH A WARMER FORECAST.
AND COMING....KMAQ RADIO BINGO JAN 15...AND THE KMAQ FARM SHOW
IN EARLY FEBRUARY. OUR SALES DEPARTMENT IS BUSY GETTING READY
FOR BOTH. BE A SPONSOR OF EITHER OR BOTH AND YOU WILL GET
YOUR BUSINESS OFF TO A GREAT 2018 START. YES ..IT PAYS
TO ADVERTISE ON KMAQ.
